Stan & Ollie are preparing to open their new electrical store. It happens to be next door to a grocery shop, which happens to be run by Charlie Hall and Mae Busch, who Stan & Ollie had met previously up in the mountains. (Them Thar Hills) and had not got on too well.
As Ollie is fixing light bulbs to a store sign, Stan accidentally sends Ollie up on a lift and he gets stuck outside Mae Busch`s bedroom window. Ollie emerges downstairs in to Charlie Hall`s shop. Charlie suspects that Ollie has been up to no good with his wife and starts a chain reaction of `Tit for Tat`. sequences.
The only film which was made as a sequel. A follow up to "Them Thar Hills.". It has it`s funny moments, but not quite as good as `Hills`. There`s also a reference to another of their films, as a sign on the shop reads "Open for Big Business".
Funny dialogue moments are there when Ollie exclaims...
OLLIE: Do you want to get us arrested before the customers arrive?
STAN: What time will they be here?
OLLIE: Oh, about half past...
Also when Ollie gets stuck outside the bedroom window....
STAN: What are you doing up there?
OLLIE: I`m waiting for a street car!
Sexual innuendo is also present, as Charlie Hall thinks that Ollie has been having sexual relations with his wife. The tit for tat moments are good, especially when Charlie Hall crushes the watches and Stan searches the remains and finds something he can play with, a spinning top type thing, and pockets it!
On the whole a pleasant film with some funny moments, but not quite "Them Thar Hills". 7/10
