There's a Booth's supermarket on the way into Ulverston & I know that there's one in south Manchester area. I believe that they are very good & sort of upmarket supermarkets (if that makes sense!)

I've never heard of Booths either, plus I'm TT, but I think its good to support those who keep The Boys' memories alive through their products, particularly when they come from Ulverston. At first, I thought it meant Boot's Chemists Silly me.

The Sons of the Desert is an actual organisation, predating the L & fraternity by half a century, and still going strong. The Shriners is an important and influential elite of Masons in the USA. You have to reach top Masonic degree level to be eligible, and before initiation into the Shriners, you serve a qualifying term in the Sons of the Desert. Between his retirement and death, Harold Lloyd was the High Potentate of the Shriners in the USA, raising millions of dollars to support good causes including children's hospitals. Babe was a Mason at the highest level in the Solomon Lodge.
