So who/what is WMG? Who thinks they own the copyright to this footage? It could have come from almost anywhere on the internet, TV (worldwide) and recorded media. This is a huge problem in the Sons of the Desert, but it's a lot easier when the source is credited.

Is this still not playing for you all on here? It seems to be OK on mine. I've checked the status of the clip on my account. It just says 'blocked in some countries'. It's the audio that's causing the problem not the video clips. And it's American copyright laws that seem to be kicking in. WMG must be some record company that owns the rights to the music. The only other online way to see it then is via Facebook. You might need an account on their to see it though. And will probably have to add 'Angus McLaurel' as a friend. A bit of a pain if you don't want to join facebook but it's the only solution I can come up with. That's my story, and I'm stuck with it... innit! WMG is Warner Music Group, something of a giant in the music industry. It's had plenty of battles with Google and YouTube...and normally wins in the courts.
BTW - if you had a face like mine, you wouldn't put it in a book, although I once was the centrefold in the Camel Breeder's Gazette.

I'd edited it to fit certain lyrics. This is just too random. Nothing I can do about copyright music laws though. I can't afford the argument!!! |
