Maybe you don't realise this but there is already an established Laurel and Hardy Forum at www.laurelandhardyforum.comI don't see the point of another one. Good luck with it though. Hello there and welcome. Yes I know there is another Laurel & Hardy forum and am a member of that myself. We aren't trying to compete with them or anything. As you can see, we are still establishing this forum, which, in time will be mainly for own tent info. etc... Despite it being a tent forum, everyon'e welcome to join in with us.

Hello there Mr McLaurel thank you for the worm welcome. I have been an avid fan of Laurel & Hardy for years so I will be eagerly watching what happens. ;D Welcome to our forum chorlton. You'll all have to bare with me until I get this place up and running proper. I was gonna leave it in 'maintenance mode' for a while but then nobody can sign up. I'm suprised to have got a couple of members already seeing as I haven't even started advertising the place yet. How did you find us?

I'm known as Kitten Kong on some forums, so wanted something Feline related...so MGM (see the Chimp) worked
And as for new forum...You've joined...so hopefully others will and I hope maybe we'll bring up something not on the L&H forum.
or it'll die on it's bum!

I have tried to explain what this forum's for already. Yes, it's another forum, but it's also another Laurel & Hardy website. I'm sure there'll be no complaints about that.
I just thought it would be a change to have a 'tent website' that people can also join in with.
Our old site featured our own reviews of films, photo galleries and other stuff and was also created before the Laurel & Hardy forum was established.
I have to admit in neglecting the old place, but now stanandollie.co.uk is back in Big Business!

What are you going to do with the old sites stuff?... I was thinkingof putting most of it on here. We could put the reviews in the films area. That way, everyone else can add their own thoughts too. As soon as I get chance, I'll dig out our old reviews. I'll send a cop of yours to you MGM.

Good luck with your new Forum (and new tent) Mr McLaurel. I live too far way down South(east) to be able to visit your tent when it starts, but I hope it all goes well.
BS, I am a member of the L&H Forum too, but I don't think there can be too many !

Thanks for joining us. Even if you're too far away to get to our tent meetings, you're quite welcome to stay here as long as you like.
