Details of the June meeting (Anita Garvin) have been circulated around the local press, Wish FM radio and the local council, in the hope that something can find its way into the local libraries. It's a dirty job, but someone has to do it.

Good to hear that Angus ! ;D Willie played a couple of your Dirty Movies at the 'Panopticon' last night, They went down well with the audience of around 70. ;D he showed 'Laughing' and the 'Army' clips. Another 'fine' meeting at the 'Panopticon' last night (2nd. June 2010) where Willie showed "Dirty Work" - "Angora Love" - and "Blockheads" ;D |

Only one more meeting before we hit the ground running for our Perfect Day..Laurel and Harday, but what a grate last meeting...... featuring Edgar Kennedy in 4 excellent films, "The Finishing Touch", "Perfect Day", Bacon Grabbers" and "Leave 'em Laughing"..... A warm welcome to two new members and a good night was had by all. It just gets better and better........

Our next meeting, or should I say when we meet next will be for our Perfect Day - Laurel & Harday annual "Do", but what about our last meeting ? Wasn't it a cracker ? I counted 16 happy members all enjoying four grate films with Billy Gilbert as the theme. Thanks again to our Grand Shreik for a fanfastic night.

The Bacon Grabbers have included the "poster" for the Laurel and HarDay, in the latest newsletter, which has a very wide circulation, so fingers crossed for a good attendance. |
