Laurel and Hardy work in a horn factory. Ollie gets hornophobia, his doctor recommends a cruise. The boys get a boat and a extra passenger.
The last Roach film, it's weird to think that only months later they were doing tat like `Great guns`, if only they could have stayed with Roach. You could say in this film Ollie gets horny!.
Have you noticed that the police usually just stand there with a scowl on their faces, shouldn't they help?. Only Stan could drive a car with the engine sitting in the back seat. Fin says he'll be there in 15 minutes, he arrives in about 3, I'll bet he's private not NHS!. Isn't Fin pressing Ollie's Knob?.
The curtain ring on Stan's ear is a subtle touch from the master. What is a continental and why doesn't Fin want to give it?. Isn't it great to see Ben Turpin. The tree must have had wind when it created Stan's banana (a lovely gag it is too).
OLLIE:Where is the basement?
RECEPTIONIST (Charlie Hall) : Downstairs
and...
STAN: Hey, which way is the out
RECEPTIONIST:: Out in the street
This seems to be 2 films. The first part is in the factory and home, the second on the boat. Note Stan's delayed reaction to Ollie hitting him with the brick. How can a dead dog smoke a pipe?. Stan's feet must stink. Little Nick is a thingy extension isn't it.
I've eaten in places that use the L&H style of cooking. If you don't feel sick during the meal you have strange tastes. On the colourised version the ‘bacon' is grey (so's the ‘coffee'). A mixed film but not without it's moments.
Remember the g minor horn always gets then!. Rating 7/10
