Anyone who's been to Laurel & Hardy events over the past few years should be aware of 'The Avalon Boys'.
They took their band name from those cowboys in 'Way Out West' and dedicated most of their act to songs from Laurel & Hardy films. They are also songwriters and performers in their own right and have released a complete album of their own work.
For those of you who may have seen them live at either Kent 2002, Wigan 2002/03, Amsterdam 2003 or Hanley in 2007 you should remember how good they were.
A few months ago, one of the band appealed for footage from their shows. Several people responded (including myself) and now I have been asked to put together a film highlighting all of their shows to send out to Laurel & Hardy tents (fans) for use as a promotional piece.
Now that was a few weeks ago and the film is almost completed!
