Mmmm...Never really had time for imitators, but these two ain't as bad as most. The F word was funny the first time, but hugely overdone. I get the idea of the cop enforcing the language code and all that, but it was just a bit too much. Maybe this is what the Danish "commentator" got so wound up about. You can see it might offend some people, mainly those who haven't seen Franke Boyle on TV. I'd say this was calculated to offend just about every shade of L & H appreciation, but it did raise a chuckle before I lost count of the F word repetition. Not one for the purists. The pay-off was funny, though, in the context. It could, though, be the way back for L & H on TV. BBC2 seems to rate its comedy value by the F-word count, and if they got Frankie Boyle to introduce a programme with L & H dialogue suitably amended, the Boys could get back on TV.
