Well, now I can say I've been to the town where all the laughter of Laurel & Hardy was created. What a great feeling it was to be in Culver City itself and see some of the locations for real.
Sadly though, we didn't see everything we wanted due to the lack of transport. I had been offered a personalised tour of the place but that never happened, so the only way to see it was to ship-hike and use our feet, therefore we were limited to what we saw.
I won't put all the photos on here. I'm gonna save some for Jessop's Journal issue #3

Felt intimidated taking a photo of this because the house was labelled with ADT security notices warnings, hence the shot from further away....

Although I didn't see some of the exterior locations, I did see the site where all the roach comedies were made (including Dirty Work!) , so to me that said enough.
The Studio location is currently undergoing re-development work, but this is where it all took place all those years ago...
