An auction in Kendal (not far from Ulverston) on Tuesday February 23rd (anniversary of Stan's passing) includes an autograph collection including one of Laurel and Hardy. The auction is being filmed for the "Real Deal" ITV show about antiques and collectibles, for screening at a later date. The auction company is called 1818, which I make as nearly twenty past six, although the sale is on in the afternoon. Might be worth a look for anyone in the area, but the price of the autographs will, as always, be of interest. That's yer Lot! (geddit?)

I'm told these autographs are now on "E-bay". I wouldn't touch it with a borrowed barge-pole with a brush extention, so I don't know anything about it. But at £580 purchase price, it should be going for a fair whack.

This programme was finally broadcast this afternoon (Wed 21st July 2010).I recorded it, but reception was poor. Anyone wanting more details, contact me. (My secretarial skivvy is off with griping of the guts at the moment, which is a dam nuisance, but I will try to cope.)
