I've put this thread on first, seeing as it was the first book I ever bought on Laurel & Hardy. I had recently been watching the films on video. Quite a few of which I hadn't seen and the reviews in this book made me want to see them. It was quite inspiring when it came to watching the films I hadn't seen. As a book itself though, it does not cover the complete films like it says in the title. There are about 10 or so that don't get mentioned. The film details are very brief too. Quite interesting too, is I've just checked this book on wikipedia, and apparently it was the first book to review the films! So in all fairness, I can see why there's a lack of detail compared to later books. We always want to know more! ;D
