I'm getting reports, through judiicial circles, of a crime wave, in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Two villains, claiming to be chimney sweeps, are calling on houses to carry out their work, and then trick the householders into paying for "urgent" rebuilding work in the stack. Shame on them. Hopefully, an electric chair will be waiting.
I also hear that some police officers in the UK are doubling as chimney sweeps off duty, to supplement their stipend. All quite worrying.
