Sorry if this is only for pop records-related trivia, but it has always fascinated me as to whether Stan and Ollie were destined to be together. In the Cuckoo documentary, Spike Milligan's inexorable logic is that "one is so stupid and one is so fat, they just had to be together". Er yes, but there are some more plausible notions , . So maybe we could make a little collection of "destiny" trivia. I'll start the ball rolling.
]Hardy's mother ran the Milledgeville Hotel on Jefferson Street. For a time, the family lived in Rose Cottage, East Jefferson Street. When Babe and his half-brother Bardy lived in their mother's hotel, The Wayne, one of the residential guests was a Mr. Stanley. They were each born in their grandmother's home. They both truanted from school. They both had a brother that died young (Babe's half-brother)
What other little gems can you come up with?
