It is definitely entitled Mr. Laurel and Mr. Hardy, ie both of the male gender. If you are being pedantic (ie riding a bicycle) the title is Mr Laurel & Mr Hardy. The cover of my copy is a collage of egg and marmalade stains, Chablis spillages and some greasy smoked salmon marks, but I'd say the base colour is an odd shade of purple. We are, of course, referring to the paperback volume "An Affectionate Biography", and not the big, heavy tome, which is too cumbersome to read at breakfast. More like an after-dinner jobbie, with only a few splashes of vintage brandy within its pages. Or are we both poking at cross tortoises?

Pardon me for asking, but what's an "invisible user"? It's someone who chooses not to have their name diplayed on the 'recent' list. You can set it that way in your profile settings. Falls flat on it's face if they post though, because it's obvious who's trying to hide!

COPYRIGHT QUERY
The Institute of Chimney Sweeps has an annual meeting and various conferences throughout each year. If we wanted to give them a DVD of Dirty Work, to show as a bit of light relief at their meetings, what kind of copyright doo-doo woud we be getting into? If I buy a DVD as a present, and give it to someone as a gift, or have it sent from the supplier, how does the copyright work then? It's my property, as the buyer, and I'm not supposed to do anything other than watch it in my own Grand Hall. So what is the difference when giving one away, for "private" showing to an audience? Tricky! Any ideas?

Can you help me Angus....or Anyone ? My password has been compromised, how do I change it on this Forum ? Thanks. try clicking the 'PROFILE' button at the top of the page, then 'MODIFY PROFILE'. In there are options to change both your e-mail address and your password. It might be better to just change you e-mail first until you get the new activation code. (that's if you need to change the address too.) Once reactivated, you should be able to change your password. I've never done this myself but from what I've looked at in the profile settings, that's how it's done! If you need anymore help, let me know. ;D
