What is a forum.............. Agnes is confused.......... A forum is basically a discussion board. Where we all have our say about whatever the topic is. Our forum/website is also the new home to our old stanandollie.co.uk site where me and MGM put on our reviews of the films, photo galleries etc. Now everyone can have their say as to what they think of the films or if they disagree with what we said! Apart from all that, we are gonna use this place to advertise our meetings and anything else us dirty workers are up to.

I dont think you can load pictures direct to the proboard forum , what you have to do is open an account with Photobucket photobucket.com/I did a handy step by step guide for the other forum a while ago , here it is Assuming you have created your account with photobucket , when you go to the site you will see this the bit I have blurred out is my user name /the name of the album I wish to access and obviously the dots are your password ,I find it easier if your browser asks to remember these when you enter them say yes , the next screen you get is this just click the button that says CHOOSE FILES, this lets you look on your hard drive for the images you want to post on the forum you will then see this the image in the orange rectangle is the picture you have uploaded and you can add a title to the image at the top right , you then click save and continue , marked by the red oval the next page shows you all the images in your album when you hover your mouse over the image you want you will see a small menu appear under it , you want the left click on the IMG code thats the actual code in the window to the right of where it says IMG CODE , it will then say in yellow COPIED this means the link has been copied to your clipboard , and you can go to your post on the fourm and paste the link in your post either by right clicking the mouse and selecting PASTE from the drop down menu or pressing CTRL and V both together on your keyboard and there you are !

Apologies as a newbie to be picky, but I find it quite hard to turn the pages. The numbers are difficult to see, and you have to mess about with the number box to change it. Could it not be simpler to have a "next page" key?

Could it not be simpler to have a "next page" key? Thanks for the feedback regarding the number box thing. I can't control the complete layout of the forum. You actually joined us after I'd been tweaking things a little. I wasn't too sure of the font change, so I've put it back to the original version. It's a bit larger, so should help with page numbers.

Thanks for your concern, Angus. I'm sure we are all grate-ful for having this at all, let alone perfection. Sorry if I'm asking a bit much, but enjoying it too much to gripe.

I have a JPEG pic I'd like to use as an avatar. I've got it to the right size, but I can't move it and it doesn't have a URL. Any ideas, anyone?

You can get an url for it if you upload it to a photobucket account. Or, if you send it to me, I can sort it for you.

Thanks to Angus and Dean, I now have my new avatar, but it's a very small one. (Please refer jokes to the Carry On website). A Cuckoo DVD for the first Dirty Worker to identify the correct (original) source.
