We are Back!!!!! The convention was brilliant!!!! 126 Sons attended from America, Holland, Germany, Ireland, Scotland & England.
On Saturday we went to Ulverston & the weather was sunny - same as when we unveiled the statue. Me & Hives went to see the house where Stan was born as we had not been on previous visits. Hives took his Ollie Chimp & we took various photos of him (the chimp) in a variety of locations.
On Sunday we went to the Winter Gardens at Morecambe where Stan & Ollie performed in 1947. 'Friends of the Winter Gardens' are in the process of renovating the building & it was in a poor state but we enjoyed a play - Laurel & Charlie - although it was really cold.
Ollie the chimp was a star at the convention - we lost count of the number of people who took his photo!!!
