Good idea Judge but when I watch programmes on ITV player via my Virgin box all the adverts are removed - don't know about access via computer though! quote] Aaah! Never thought of that I''l just have to watch more ITV and see if I can record it. ITV is not my usual channel, and of course, it's regional, sothe ad may not be shown in Bogeyland.

Well, Martin Kelner (now my F. B. friend) was on great form again last night on Talksport Radio.... He played an excerpt from "Thicker than Water" A small tribute to Bill Cubin, unfortunately he got 'Fin' and Ben Turpin mixed up ...easy to do, I suppose, if your not Fixated like all of us ! He also promised to play another audio clip later in the show, but I drifted off to sleep....and may I say, What a nice way to go to sleep. ;D He really is an Avid Fan of the 'Boys' I'm pleased to say ! B.S. There was a guy named Michael who kept E-mailing the show.......Perhaps he is a Utopian ? ;D

Yea, Piedimont, I heard some of that, too. He certainly is another nice fan, repeatecly referring to his "memorable" visit to Ulverston. He promises more of the same tonight. No idea who "Michael" is...from Dartford, as I remember, though like you, I ws nodding off. Well, it was 4 in the morning! But yes, good to hear a national radio broadcaster bigging up The Boys.

In today's Express there's an article about Ronnie Corbett with a list of 'Corbett's Crackers'.
First on this list is
'It was revealed in a government survey published today that the Prime Minister is doing the work of two men. Laurel and Hardy.'
;D

The Flying Deuces (ahem)
Apparently there is some sort of tennis marathon going on at Wimbledon, where scores usually go up to 6. A match now extending into three days, is 59-59, and the BBC commentator said the players will go down in history, as with other great paired names, and the first that came to his mind was Laurel and Hardy - of course! Game, set and match!

In the quiz contest "Eggheads" tonight, on BBC, one of the questions was "Who do members of the organisation The Sons Of The Desert appreciate?" After some discussion of the multi-choice answer, which included the Marx Bros, the team managed to get it right, by remembering The Boys in a "desert-related" film. I think they boiled it down to the right answer.
